SMS terms and privacy
The program
On The Hill Texts sends drop alerts from On The Hill, a Washington, D.C. cap label: when a pre-order opens, when a cap is running low, last calls, and pickup reminders for orders. You join by checking the SMS box on a signup form at onthehill.shop and entering your mobile number.
The box says: By checking this box, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing texts from On The Hill at the number provided, such as drop alerts and last calls. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Up to 6 msgs per drop. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
How often
Up to 6 messages per drop, and usually fewer. Nothing between drops unless your order needs a pickup or shipping update.
Stopping and help
Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You get one confirmation and nothing after that. Reply HELP for help, or write to thestaff@onthehill.shop.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, per your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent
Texting consent is optional and is never a condition of buying anything. US mobile numbers only.
Privacy
Your number and your texting consent are stored with your customer record in Shopify, which sends the messages. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. We use your number only for On The Hill messages and for your orders.
